Room Darkening Blinds
Room darkening blinds prevent excessive light entering the room, as the fabric element is totally blackout. The only light penetration is around the sides.
Translucent Blinds
Translucent blinds are made from tightly woven material with no holes allowing soft filtered light to pass through whilst maintaing privacy.
Recess or Exact Fitting ?
Recess Fitting
Recess measurements allow the blind to sit within the window
- Measure the width in 3 places and take the smallest measurement.
- Measure the drop in 3 places and take the smallest measurement.
*If you select recess, we will deduct your measurement by 1cm - 1.5cm from the width and 1cm from the drop to ensure the perfect fit.

Exact Fitting
Exact fitting means we will make no deductions to your measurements.
- We suggest overlapping the edge of the window 10cm each side to reduce light.
- The drop of the blind is personal choice
*We will manufacture the blind bracket to bracket size, this means your actual fabric size will be around 3cm less and 4cm less with cassette.

Control location
On this range of blinds you can specify which side you require the operating control to be located, this is a free of charge option.
You need to consider this option if you have limited access to a window and specify the control to be located on the side which you have the easiest access to.
Interlining Option
By choosing this option, you create a thermal control for your rooms. The free interlining is an extra lining added to the blind, which creates an insulating barrier between your environment and the outdoors.
You get to enjoy a cost-effective and energy-saving blind by regulating the temperature of your rooms all year round.
Bunch options
You can specify which side you want the louvres to bunch when the blinds are fully open, this is a free of charge option. Either left hand bunch, right hand bunch or split bunch (centre opening). See diagrams below:
Fixing options
Our Vertical Blinds can be either face fixed or top fixed, you will need to specify which method you will use so that we can supply the correct brackets.
Top Fixing - through the top of the brackets into the window lintel or ceiling.
Face Fixing - into the window frame or wall.
Top Fixing
Fix brackets to ceiling or under side of recess with holes drilled on a line at least 3" (75mm) from the wall or window frame. The end brackets should be situated approximately 4" (100mm) from each end of the track. All remaining brackets should be spaced evenly between these brackets.
Face Fixing
Fix brackets to the wall or window frame at the desired height. The brackets should be situated approximately 4" (100mm) from each of the track. All remaining brackets should be spaced evenly between these brackets.
